Job summary

West Linn-Wilsonville School District 3J District Operations — Tualatin, Oregon is seeking a Maintenance II - Groundskeeper. This 8 hour/day, 12 month position supports the district’s grounds, athletic fields, and equipment under the Facilities Manager.

Immediate start; prior grounds experience preferred. The role emphasizes field maintenance, plant care, and safe chemical handling, with potential supervision of temporary staff.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in grounds, lawn care; landscaping.
• High school diploma or equivalent required by Oregon Administrative Rules.
• Possession of a valid Oregon Operator’s license issued by the State DMV.

Responsibilities

• Maintain district grounds, athletic fields and related equipment.
• Perform routine playground equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Analyze grass and plant growth problems and advise the Facilities Manager.
• Care for and maintain assigned equipment and motor vehicles.
• Supervise other temporary grounds personnel as needed.
