Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for a swing shift in Wilsonville, Oregon. Base pay is $39.76 per hour plus a 10% shift differential, with a 2:30 PM–11:00 PM schedule or similar, and overtime possible.

The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair a wide range of production equipment in a fast-paced environment, using strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience performing advanced troubleshooting on 24/7 production equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience using CMMS and computer-based systems.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies including LOTO, arc flash, and stop-work authority.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install production machinery and supporting systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document work accurately.
• Assist with spare parts inventory and order tracking.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and other departments to meet goals.
• Communicate clearly in writing, verbally, and visually.
• Maintain quality and compliance standards supporting manufacturing operations.
