American Homes 4 Rent is seeking a District Maintenance Manager in Greensboro, NC to lead turn maintenance operations and field teams, ensuring timely upkeep of assets and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will manage resources, budgets, and KPIs, collaborate with vendors and internal partners, and drive cost‑efficient maintenance outcomes while upholding the company’s service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical training preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years in supervising field maintenance.
• Minimum two (2) years in project management (Capital Expenditures).
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of construction, maintenance, or property management operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a field turn maintenance team and daily workflow.
• Hire, train, and coach technicians while monitoring performance and metrics.
• Manage assets budgets, KPIs, and financial reports.
• Conduct field training, ride‑alongs, inspections, and inventory checks.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners; address issues.
• Support PO preparation and cost approvals.
• Oversee quality control and vendor performance.
