Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a District Manager in Baton Rouge to guide multiple stores toward growth in sales and profitability. You will lead General Managers, develop staff, and drive commercial and DIY market strategies with integrity.

You will review P&L outcomes, coach teams, and ensure operational standards across the district while maintaining strong customer relationships and a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing a team of 10–20 General Managers in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven track record in meeting sales and gross margin targets in a multi-unit setting.
• Proficiency in P&L literacy and strong business acumen.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable coaching and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed district total sales and profitability goals.
• Ensure commercial customer retention and relationship growth in the market.
• Staffing, hiring, development, goal setting and performance management of General Managers.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Conduct regular store visits and provide action plans to reach market potential.
• Teach business acumen by reviewing profit and loss statements with GMs.
• Communicate effectively to stores and support staff; foster a diverse, respectful environment.
