Job summary

Parker Management is seeking a District Leader in Training to develop leadership and operational skills, with promotion to District Leader as the goal. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and controlling store activities while gaining experience in district-wide leadership responsibilities.

The program emphasizes training across store operations, merchandising, marketing collaboration, community relations, and staff development to prepare for higher levels of management within Parker’s.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Driver’s license (valid, unrestricted).
• Age restricted alcohol and tobacco sales training completed.
• UST Training completed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the financial operating plan including controllable costs, sales projections, and operating profit for district.
• Maintain store labor budgets and inventory controls; monitor pricing, promos, and waste.
• Train and develop store leadership; implement marketing and promotional plans across locations.
• Ensure brand standards in merchandising and store presentation; oversee promotions and community relations.
• Communicate with Director of Operations and Marketing regarding activities before implementation.
• Lead by example in recruiting, interviewing, and staff development; complete performance evaluations.
