Job summary

Daikin Applied in Seattle seeks a District Service Manager to lead the local service team and drive growth across service, repair, and energy solutions. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team including Account Managers and Technicians while aligning with sales and operations to meet business objectives.

The role emphasizes safety, culture, and people-centered leadership, with responsibility for P&L and achieving financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years related experience in the commercial HVAC service industry or parallel industry.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience both direct and/or indirect.
• Leadership experience in Service, Sales, and Operations.
• Previous experience working with financial statements and managing P&L in excess of $5M.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plans, strategies and objectives to ensure quotas and financial plans are met or exceeded.
• Develop plans and align work and resources so that customer needs, contractual obligations, and service work is completed within appropriate timeframes and meets quality expectations.
• Manage district P&L and deliver on financial goals (revenue and operating income).
• Lead Account Managers enabling growth in service and repair, complex turnkey, building automation and energy solution projects.
• Build and maintain rapport with internal and external business partners to ensure sales objectives are communicated and achieved.
• Drive implementation of Daikin culture, including prioritization of safety and People-Centered Management, for the district.
• Provide leadership for the service team, including Service Coordinators, Account Managers, and Technicians.
• Coach and develop employees in order to maximize performance and potential.
