Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or trade school required.
• 2 years HVAC schooling or 2 years verifiable HVAC work experience required.
• EPA 608 Universal certification required (refrigerant practices).
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a School Board vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Perform annual coil cleanings and drain line/pan maintenance.
• Check compressor and motor amperage for operation and efficiency; replace belts; lubricate bearings.
• Assist with installation, adjustment, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Maintain daily records and logs; communicate with staff and vendors; ensure safety and timely responses.
