Job summary

C Cherokee County Schools is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform HVAC system maintenance and repairs. The role requires a high school diploma, three years of HVAC experience, and certification in refrigerant recovery.

The successful candidate will work under the Director of Maintenance and collaborate with a maintenance team. Open until filled; 12-month contract; starting date to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA REQUIRED.
• 2. THREE YEARS SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE REPAIRING HVAC SYSTEMS.
• 3. ASE REFRIGERANT RECOVERY & RECYCLING CERTIFICATION.
• 4. Working knowledge of Windows and other network applications.
• 5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
• 6. Must pass background check and TB screening before start date.
