Job summary

Clayton County Public Schools is seeking an HVAC Mechanic II to perform repair, installation, and preventative maintenance across district facilities. This role reports to the HVAC Supervisor and requires handling tools, driving a district vehicle, and maintaining safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Georgia driver’s license. CDL and experience with computerized maintenance systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, installation, and preventative maintenance for HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Operate tools and materials; carry out maintenance across district facilities.
• Drive district vehicle to work sites and restock supplies; maintain vehicle PPE and inventory.
• Other duties as assigned to support district facilities initiatives.
