Polk County Government is seeking a skilled A/C Refrigeration Mechanic for the Facilities Management division. The position involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVACR equipment across Lakeland and Bartow locations.

Minimum five years’ experience and a Universal Refrigeration Certification (required within six months) are expected. A valid driver’s license is required; a Florida license will be required on hire.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ experience in installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Must possess or obtain a Universal Refrigeration Certification within six (6) months.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to secure Florida license upon employment.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair air conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Repair pumps, valves, piping, fittings and ductwork.
• Maintain refrigerant logs and maintenance records as required.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to service equipment.
