Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking a District Manager to lead multiple branches in the Assonet, MA and Warwick, RI area.

The DM will direct a team of sales, administrative and operations staff to achieve safety, top-line growth, and profitability while maintaining strong customer service. The role requires a four-year degree and at least three years in a sales/operations leadership role with P&L responsibility in a related distribution industry.

Qualifications

Four-year college degree from an accredited institution in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of increasing responsibility in a business to business sales-related or sales operations position including prior experience managing a team and a P&L or comparable experience within the distribution industry involving gases and welding supplies or similar industrial products.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and motivate Branch, Administrative, Operating and Sales associates within the District to achieve safety, top-line growth, EBITDA and operational excellence.
Manage branch assets to ensure Airgas's speed to market and execute Core Strategy I and II activities.
Ensure branch planners are in place and responsible for execution and maintain stock levels for high fulfillment.
Drive profit margin through plans and strategies; manage operating expenses in line with GP goals and growth plans.
