Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks a District Manager to lead multiple Divisions in Vista and El Cajon, driving customer satisfaction and coordinating back-office support.

You will own budgets, P&L, cash flow, safety programs, and staff development, building a high-performance culture while partnering with leadership, customers, and vendors to hit annual targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a District Management role within the fire and security industry.
• Proven track record of growing a business as a District Manager.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups including leadership, staff, customers, and vendors.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple Sciens Divisions/locations.
• Develop and implement a strategic growth strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Own annual budgets and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Manage Profit and Loss for each Division and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure safety initiatives and OSHA standards are followed across locations.
• Drive high customer satisfaction and strong employee performance.
• Oversee staffing, asset management, and fleet usage.

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a District Manager who is a positive change agent and can drive high customer satisfaction, while leading Division teams in multiple locations, along with a back-office staff to support Divisions that are experiencing exciting growth. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience managing multiple locations in the fire alarm and security industry and is ready to assume ownership of a district management role, while being part of a vibrant national organization.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)

• Lead and manage multiple Sciens Divisions/locations.
• Develop and implement a strategic growth strategy in line with company objectives.
• Responsible for developing annual budgets and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
• Manage Profit and Loss statement of each Division.
• Support achievement of cashflow and NWC targets.
• Manage and achieve operations performance, including achievement of key metrics.
• Responsible for building a high-performance culture to include annual performance reviews and development initiatives.
• Responsible for efficient asset management, such as inventory and company service vehicles.
• Responsible for manpower planning, staffing, and allocation.
• Achieve employee and customer satisfaction targets.
• Communicate with customers, employees, vendors, and partners to achieve annual targets.
• Responsible to ensure all employees embrace the safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.
• PLEASE NOTE - The 2 Locations are in Vista, CA and El Cajon, CA

WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU

• Minimum of five years of experience in a District Management role within the fire and security industry.
• Proven track record of growing a business as a District Manager.
• Ability to effectively communicate to a diverse group of individuals, including company leadership, employees, regional staff, customers, and vendors.

• Knowledge of current fire alarm and/or security systems.

• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
