Job summary

Lewiston Public Schools is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide district-wide behavioral consultation and direct support for ABA-based programs in public schools. You will design and supervise individualized, evidence-based interventions to support students with ASD, developmental disabilities, ADHD, or significant behavioral challenges.

You will collaborate with special and general educators, ed techs, school psychologists, and administrators to promote student success,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification.
• Experience with autism and behavioral supports in school settings.
• Familiarity with Maine DOE Chapters 33 & 101 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and create data-driven PBSPs.
• Coach and train teachers, Ed Techs, and support staff in ABA strategies.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop behavior-related goals.
• Provide consultation and support to general and special education classrooms.
• Assist with crisis plans, MTSS/PBIS, and staff professional development.
