Job summary

Swisher International, Inc. is seeking a District Account Manager to lead retail and wholesale accounts in the Cleveland, OH area, driving sales growth, distribution, and in-store execution excellence.

You will build strong relationships with retailers and brokers, develop customer-specific plans, and manage trade funds while collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership to align with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales/account management within consumer goods.
• Experience with brokers or independent distributors.
• Proven ability to hit sales and distribution targets.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with retailers.
• Experience with trade promotions and in-store execution.
• Proficiency with sales analytics tools, CRM, and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel daily; occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage district accounts to achieve volume, distribution and profitability goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with retail and wholesale partners.
• Develop and execute customer-specific sales plans aligned with regional priorities.
• Execute sell-in of new products, innovation, and promotions.
• Use category insights to influence shelf placement and promotional compliance.
• Analyze sales results and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Partner with brokers, field sales, and retail execution teams for in-store activation.
• Monitor trade funds and promotional budgets with compliance.
• Provide feedback on competitive activity to support strategic adjustments.
• Participate in joint business planning sessions and performance reviews.
