Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB is seeking a Sales Representative to drive distributor channel sales from Portland, OR. The role focuses on building and maintaining distributor relationships, negotiating quotes, and promoting ASSA ABLOY solutions across door security products.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in distribution channel management, is a strong communicator, and can work remotely/hybrid from Portland with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of distribution channel management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Ability to read specifications and facility standards; strong sales aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships in distributor organizations.
• Solicit, follow-up, and negotiate quote opportunities.
• Manage distributor buying programs.
• Promote distributor promotions and programs to secure discretionary sales revenue.
• Work closely with distributors to ensure that they quote ASSA ABLOY specifications.
• Conduct regularly scheduled distributor business reviews.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct distributor product/solution training sessions.
• Coordinate the resolution of product and field service issues.
• Manage brand shelf space at distributor accounts.
