Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Rocky Hill, CT is hiring a Distribution Lead to oversee daily shipping operations for completed prescriptions and prepare products for shipment onsite at our Rocky Hill facility. The role reports to the Northeast Distribution Supervisor and involves routing, courier performance, and logistics within the region.

Ideal candidates will have a pharmacy background, ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn our dispatching and routing software.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Familiarity with shipping and delivery documentation.
• Experience with long-term care or commercial pharmacies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery operations within the region.
• Monitor service levels and implement corrective actions.
• Provide regular updates to the Northeast Distribution Supervisor.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions for shipment.
• Prepare and stage packages for delivery with packing lists.
• Utilize systems and scanners to track delivery data.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians as needed.
