Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a Distribution Team Lead to organize prescriptions and prepare products for shipment at our onsite facility. The role focuses on logistics efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, with daytime hours and no night shifts.

The ideal candidate will oversee routing, monitor courier performance, and collaborate with the Northeast Distribution Supervisor to improve service levels. Prior shipping or pharma experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience sorting and organizing prescriptions in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to oversee daily shipping operations and ensure accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day delivery operations, including routing, courier performance, and overall logistics within the region.
Monitor delivery service levels, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to enhance timeliness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Provide regular operational updates and performance insights to the Northeast Distribution Supervisor.
Sort and organize completed prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all handling and documentation procedures.
Utilize pharmacy operating systems, dispatching, and routing software, along with handheld scanners to track and capture delivery data.
Prepare and stage packages for delivery by printing packing lists, verifying accuracy, and performing additional duties as assigned.
