The Distribution Sell With Executive for Digital Industries (DI) Automation will support the growth of revenue through the Indirect Channel by assisting distributors throughout the sales cycle, providing coaching on account management, opportunity management, and deal closure to meet revenue targets.

As a Distribution Sell With Executive (DSE), you will work with our sales network to ensure the right resources are allocated to drive sales and revenue of our portfolio. You will collaborate with partners to develop new and expanding business opportunities, focusing on value propositions, onboarding new customers, and revenue growth.

The role requires creating industry-focused initiatives and detailed territory plans to drive execution, account strategy, and resource alignment. The DSE reports directly to the Distribution Sell With Manager within the Partner Sales organization.

We are looking for a Distribution Sell With Executive. This position is remote but requires the candidate to be located in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, or New Mexico, near a major airport, as these are the designated territories.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in assigned accounts, territories, or verticals.
  • Leading complex negotiations for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and channel distributors.
  • Coaching distributor teams to improve sales productivity, shorten sales cycles, and increase win rates by helping them balance 'Hunter/Farmer' sales strategies, identify key buyer personas, and drive growth.
  • Advising on target markets, industries, and digital/social selling strategies.
  • Guiding opportunity and pipeline management using Siemens CRM.
  • Providing sales and negotiation tactics to win business.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct sales/business development experience with a proven sales record.
  • 5+ years of experience selling high-tech products such as Factory Automation (PLC's, HMI's, IPC's, SCADA), Motion (Drives and Sematic Products), or Digital Connectivity Products (RFID, Power Supplies, Network Switches).
  • Expertise in managing complex sales cycles and leading extended teams to close deals.
  • Knowledge of Channel Sales and the indirect reseller model.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives in the SMB market.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and campaigns.
  • Experience working with cross-functional, matrixed teams.
