Job summary

EquiTrust Life Insurance Company is seeking a Distribution Experience Consultant to advise financial professionals, marketing organizations, and internal stakeholders on distribution policies, commission structures, and program eligibility. This role partners with Sales, Marketing, Technology, and external partners to implement programs and resolve operational issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant financial services experience.
• Minimum 3 years of financial services, sales support, operations, or related experience if degreed; 5 years if non-degreed.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workflows, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Mail Merge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to financial professionals, marketing organizations, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders for inquiries regarding distribution structures, commission management, and program eligibility.
• Assist with review and validation of hierarchy and commission level changes.
• Support monitoring of production activity affecting compensation levels and rewards programs.
• Coordinate resolution of distribution-related operational issues with Sales, Agent Administration, Commissions, New Business, and other departments.
• Work in EquiTrust’s distribution management system to administer sales programs, custom compensation arrangements, and distribution experience functions.
• Maintain operational documentation and assist with testing and validation of system enhancements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with financial professionals, marketing organizations, financial institutions, and internal business partners.
• Support communication and education efforts related to sales programs, enhancements, and operational updates.
• Assist with preparation and distribution of program materials, communications, and support documentation.
• Assist with preparation, validation, and distribution of recurring and ad hoc reports related to program participation, sales and production tracking, and operational metrics.
• Perform operational tracking, reconciliation, and data validation activities to support program accuracy.
• Support maintenance of program information within the Company’s distribution management platform and related systems.
• Support the Sales and Marketing team and/or other departments on an as-needed basis.
• Willingly take on additional responsibilities to accomplish department and Company objectives.
• Actively participate and contribute to the goals and objectives of the Company by working collaboratively and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
