Job summary

Macy's, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Operations to coordinate day-to-day management of a distribution department in our facility. You will oversee the shift, ensure safety and performance targets, and drive efficiency across operations.

This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication with senior leadership. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with responsibilities across inventory, reporting, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to review costs, operations and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a distribution department to meet or exceed goals.
• Lead and develop hourly staff across shifts.
• Generate management reports on key metrics.
• Ensure safety, cost control, quality and reliability in operations.
• Present to senior management as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
