Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced distribution floor and partner with site leadership to drive safety, service, productivity, and inventory accuracy in a high-volume environment.

You will build and coach front-line teams, own labor and workflow alignment for daily and peak demand, and use WMS data to identify improvements across inbound, outbound, inventory, and dock activity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with 3-5 years of progressive distribution leadership experience in a large-scale operation.
• This is an onsite, in-office role.
• Demonstrated success leading people and performance in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution, logistics, or fulfillment environment.
• Strong ability to lead teams, set direction, and drive accountability.
• Demonstrated operational judgment and ability to make effective real-time decisions in a changing environment.
• Proficiency in WMS systems and understanding of how they support inventory control, workflow, and accuracy.
• Demonstrated success managing third-party providers across warehouse operations, value-added services, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop front-line teams to meet daily and peak demand.
• Own key floor areas, ensuring labor, staffing, and workflow alignment.
• Translate operational priorities into action and maintain execution across shifts.
• Monitor productivity and service performance, addressing gaps and obstacles.
• Support safety, compliance, and operational standards across the site.
• Collaborate with site leadership to ensure OSHA standards are met and processes are scalable.
