Job summary

FPC of Wake Forest is recruiting for a Distribution Operations Manager in the life sciences sector. The role leads daily distribution activities, ensuring a positive customer-focused experience while driving KPI-driven improvements across receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering/Operations or related field with 8+ years in distribution operations and 5+ years in a leadership role, plus strong documentation of procedures and knowledge of

Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or another related field.
8+ years of experience in Distribution Operations
5+ years of leadership experience; ability to connect with and motivate your team
Proven ability to develop and document procedures
Strong understanding of Quality Systems/ISO 9000
Ability to communicate clearly to all levels of the organization.
Working knowledge of WMS

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight to day-to-day distribution operations
Maintain and encourage a positive, customer-focused experience
Develop Key Performance Indicators and execute on countermeasures as needed
Optimize material flow thorough the warehouse (receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping)
Create and implement standard operating procedures
