Job summary

Life Couriers in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Operations Manager to supervise daily operations, recruit and develop staff, and drive productivity, quality, and on-site customer service in a fast-paced, time-sensitive logistics environment.

You will lead a large team, coordinate contractors and drivers, monitor metrics, and implement process improvements to ensure on-time deliveries and exceptional service; familiarity with transportation software and pay systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Operations Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in Logistics, Distribution and/or Transportation/Supply Chain Solutions.
• 2+ years of management experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day 24/7/365 operations with accountability and discretion.
• Lead and motivate a large team with career development plans.
• Manage data collection and metrics to improve productivity and control costs.
• Schedule and coordinate with contractors and drivers for timely deliveries.
• Oversee policy adherence and on-time delivery standards; implement improvements.
• Handle client issues to maintain positive relationships and service quality.
