Job summary

Expeditors, a global logistics company headquartered in Seattle, is seeking a Distribution Manager for the Ohio region. You will manage distribution products, identify new services opportunities, and collaborate with sales to convert opportunities into profitable business.

Key duties include sales activities, scope and rates, SOP development, customer retention, and supporting monthly client P&L with accounting. Strong communication and process documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to relate to customers and employees at all levels.
• Experience with MS Windows and MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Sales activities, preparing scope and rates.
• Preparation and implementation of the SOP.
• Customer retention and relationship management.
• Operational, training and other activities as needed.
• Provide necessary information to accounting to produce monthly client P&L.
