Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a warehouse supervisor to lead and coach teams in our Ohio operations. You will oversee daily logistics, ensure safety standards, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining accuracy and service quality across shifts.

Candidate should show 4 years of industry knowledge, strong leadership, and proven ability to communicate clearly, manage inventory, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet ambitious performance goals.

Qualifications

• Formal leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills with ability to listen and provide clear feedback.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and supervise staff across shifts.
• Experience improving processes to boost safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coaching Warehouse teams.
• Weekly team huddle with Warehouse Lead.
• Monthly 1-on-1s with Warehouse Lead.
• Assist with annual performance reviews and development plans.
• Execute district tactical plans and ensure safety/compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional facility.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and safety programs.
• Provide input to budget and staffing for peak periods.
• Ensure adequate staffing with certified personnel.
• Support onboarding and cross-training of staff.
