Job summary

Delta Faucet in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Distribution Controller to partner with distribution operations, lead the month-end close, and drive budgeting, forecasting, and inventory controls. You’ll translate financial performance into actionable insights for operational leaders and work with HQ Finance and cross-functional partners to improve cost management and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CMA or CPA preferred.
• Five to seven years of operations finance or accounting experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and Word; experience with SAP ERP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and sound financial controls.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and resolve complex, unstructured problems with sound judgment and minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX compliance through policies and procedures.
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, account analysis, and variance explanations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for labor, overhead, scrap, and capital; provide actionable variance analysis.
• Partner with operations leaders to support continuous improvement and operational performance.
• Monitor overhead spend, labor efficiency, and cost drivers to identify risks and savings opportunities.
• Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting to plant leadership and HQ stakeholders.
• Coordinate cycle-count and inventory control programs in line with corporate standards.
