Job summary

Delta Faucet Company is seeking a Plant Accounting Manager to support plant operations financially by maintaining the general ledger, closing month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control. You will provide insights to plant leadership to drive cost reduction and operational excellence, reporting to the Category Controller and partnering with HQ finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• CMA/CPA preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Access and Word; SAP ERP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the implementation of all accounting policies and procedures to guarantee complete adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
• Manage the month-end close process, including financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for labor, overhead, scrap, and capital with actionable variance analysis.
• Collaborate with operations to offer financial assistance for ongoing improvement efforts.
• Monitor overhead spending, labor efficiency, and cost drivers to identify issues and savings opportunities.
• Deliver timely financial reports to plant management and HQ.
• Coordinate cycle-count and inventory control programs.
