Job summary

Missouri American Water in Olivette, MO is hiring Distribution Field Workers to join our T&D operations. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing water pipes, hydrants, meters, and related appurtenances on a 2nd shift schedule with varying days, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write and fill out daily logs.
• Physically able to perform duties and use tools/vehicles.
• CDL Class A with appropriate endorsements and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, and maintains pipe, mains, and appurtenances of the T&D system.
• Makes taps, hydrant tests, and leak surveys; checks turbidity and chlorine.
• Removes and sets water meters; handles materials and equipment on job sites.
• Operates tools and vehicles; pours concrete; repairs road damage from excavations.
• Maintains storeyards, handles cargo, and ensures proper stock of materials; keeps area tidy.
• Complies with OSHA, regulations, and company policies; performs other duties as assigned.
