Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).
• Experience with structural analysis, guying calcs, cable pulling calcs, coordination of protective devices, and fault current calculations.
• Own reliable transportation for field travel when required.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for electric utility projects and QC tasks within the team.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and Street Light projects using GIS and Work Management systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and leads on client issues including schedule adherence and quality control.
• Review engineering design packages with clients and perform planning and client follow-ups.
• Perform scope analysis and maintain schedule adherence to priorities.
• Coordinate field data collection and develop large design packages for complex cable/conduit projects.
