Job summary

The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. You will develop work packages for OH/UG/URD, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and use tools such as Pole Foreman, SOCKET, Spida-Calc, and DDS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience working with electric utilities or consultants on design engineering for electric distribution.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and Street Light projects using GIS and WMS systems.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Review engineering design packages with clients.
• Coordinate field data collection and design validation.
