Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in distribution design or related field.
• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).
• Experience with structural analysis, guying calcs, cable pulling calcs, and coordination of protective devices.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and Street Light projects.
• Review design packages with clients and ensure schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with field and design teams to maintain quality and scope.
