Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in distribution design or distribution engineering.
• Experience in electric distribution space, including grid hardening or make-ready projects.
• Foundational knowledge of power distribution concepts.
• Ability to support engineering and electrical design activities for distribution systems.
• Willingness to grow a long-term career within the electric distribution industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 01 years of experience acceptable with strong interest in learning.
• Basic proficiency with distribution design tools and ability to learn organization-specific applications such as GDT.

Responsibilities

• Design and support electric power distribution systems for grid hardening, make-ready projects, and other power delivery initiatives.
• Prepare and update distribution design documentation per standards and project requirements.
• Develop safe, reliable, and efficient distribution solutions in the electric distribution space.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate and timely distribution design tasks.
• Utilize distribution design software and tools, such as GDT, to support planning and execution.
• Review engineering data, field information, and system requirements for distribution projects.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within power delivery and electric distribution industries.
• Support continuous improvement of design processes and overall quality of deliverables.
