Job summary

OGE Energy Corp. is seeking a Designer Staff (or Senior) to join its design organization in Oklahoma City. The role involves performing a range of drafting and design tasks, developing preliminary and final drawings, and leading others on design projects.

The position supports growth through standardized processes and collaboration with engineers and drafting personnel. The Staff/Senior levels require applicable engineering technology or related degrees with minimum years of design/drafting

Qualifications

• Engineering technology or related degree required for Staff/Senior levels.
• 3 years design and 3 years drafting experience for Staff; 5 years design and 3 years drafting for Senior.
• 6 credit hours in Algebra/Calculus and 6 credit hours in Electrical/Electronics/Physics required.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings with Engineers and Drafting staff.
• Provide drafting/design guidance and leadership for projects.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings and perform field sketches/drawings.
