Job summary

Og&e seeks an Engineer Lead/Spec to advance design and construction of facilities, resolve complex engineering issues, and coordinate cross‑functional teams. The role involves leading engineers, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to standards.

Responsibilities include drafting, field investigations, and influencing policy through technical presentations. A PE license and civil engineering expertise are preferred, with readiness to work on-site in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required with 6 years related engineering experience ( Engineer 4 yrs + others ).
• Preferred: Civil Engineering degree and PE licensure in OK (or AR transfer).
• Experience with site layout and grading, stormwater, retention ponds, and water/wastewater permitting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and interpret schematics, drawings, layouts and other visual aids.
• Conduct surveys to gather field data.
• Solve problems and develop original solutions based on research and technical expertise.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for small to medium projects.
• Review development plans for compliance with engineering standards and guidelines.
• Lead junior engineers to project completion.
• Plan, prioritize, and conduct assignments; communicate with regulatory bodies as needed.
