Job summary

Guernsey in Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to lead electrical building systems design from concept through construction. You will provide technical leadership, prepare drawings and specs, coordinate with disciplines, and support project execution on diverse building projects.

You will mentor junior designers, help develop processes and standards, pursue Oklahoma licensure/ NCEES as needed, and contribute to business development and client meetings.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Minimum 5–10+ years of electrical design experience.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building systems design (power, lighting, grounding) and related pathways.
• Prepare drawings, specs, calculations, and coordination for project needs.
• Provide construction support including RFIs, submittals, site visits.
• Coordinate with all disciplines to ensure high-quality, coordinated projects.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers and support process improvements.
