Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company in Wisconsin seeks a Warehouse Training Specialist to design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training across distribution centers. You will mentor staff, monitor onboarding milestones, and coordinate on-the-job and classroom training, traveling to branches as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and hands-on guidance to clerks, receivers, and drivers, with a focus on developing talent and maintaining CETG content accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 2 years of related experience.
• 1+ year in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
• 6+ months in a training/lead capacity.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to present training to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to influence and achieve results without direct leadership responsibility.
• Proficient in Zoom and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as training support for distribution center employees.
• Monitor and track training to ensure onboarding milestones.
• Provide warehouse and on-the-job training for all employees (clerks, receivers, drivers).
• Travel to distribution centers and surrounding branches to provide training.
• Provide mentorship to employees to ensure they receive all necessary training.
• Identify high-potential new employees during training.
• Partner with subject matter experts to ensure CETG content is accurate and up to date.
