sanmaremployeeopenings is seeking a DC Supervisor in Ashland, VA to lead distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.

You will guide hourly staff, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate across departments to improve productivity and quality. 4–6 years warehouse experience and 1–3 years in a lead role are preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• 4-6 years of warehouse experience
• 1-3 years as a lead or supervisor
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Read/write and verbally communicate with customers
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Identify daily activities to achieve productivity, teamwork, safety, quality and knowledge
• Oversee all aspects of the distribution center for accurate, timely processing and delivery
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and development to hourly staff
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide feedback
• Interview and hire new employees
• Collaborate across departments to drive productivity and policies
• Analyze business trends to develop solutions and programs
• Foster an inclusive environment with diverse backgrounds
• Respond to employee needs professionally and respectfully
• Manage difficult employee situations in a professional manner
