Job summary

SanMar, a leading DC operations provider, is seeking a Shift Manager for our Tolleson, AZ distribution center. The candidate will oversee daily and weekly operations, including planning, receiving, storage and shipping, and will hire and motivate staff on the shift.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional processes to maximize customer experience, monitoring productivity and labor planning, overseeing shipping, and conducting annual performance reviews while driving continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years experience building cross-functional relationships.
• 1-3 years supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage difficult employee situations professionally.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change in the work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate processes and operations across the DC to maximize customer experience.
• Monitor movement of product, labor planning and balancing for efficiency.
• Oversee the shipping from the DC to proper transportation channels in a timely manner.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and provide day-to-day coaching and career development guidance.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of operations.
