Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to assist with supervising and coordinating daily distribution center operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient movement of merchandise. You will lead, train, schedule, and develop team members across assigned distribution centers while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflow to meet operational deadlines.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and general materials handling processes.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, routing systems, or AS400 platforms.
• Experience working with operational metrics, productivity expectations, and workflow management.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a distribution center, warehouse, transportation, or logistics environment.
• Completion of O’Reilly supervisor training programs.
• Proficiency in one or more additional languages.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision and coordination of daily distribution center operations to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor departmental workflow and staffing levels to achieve daily goals and productivity targets.
• Provide leadership by communicating expectations, monitoring performance, and addressing growth opportunities with team members.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Support budgeting, payroll tracking, and reporting activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards and DOT regulations where applicable.
