Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor to lead a team of up to 50 non-exempt colleagues in a state-of-the-art facility. You will plan, organize, direct, and control daily activities across the shift to meet performance goals, including order selection, replenishment, loading and shipping of store orders.

The role requires overseeing training, scheduling, and daily task execution, while maintaining productivity, quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or group-leading experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires.
• Ensuring employees have the equipment, materials and documents needed to complete tasks.
• Monitoring resources to meet daily production and delivery goals.
• Balancing workloads to achieve projected completion times.
• Monitoring performance to ensure quality and quantity targets are met.
• Conducting staff meetings and ensuring worksheets are completed on time.
• Providing ongoing training to maintain productivity standards.
• Using reports to project workload and resolve issues.
• Communicating effectively across levels and building high-performance teams.
• Promoting safety and security awareness and compliance.
