Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor to lead a 20-40 person team in a modern CVS distribution facility. You will plan, organize and supervise daily shift activities, manage order selection, replenishment, loading and shipping, and drive productivity and quality.

This 2nd shift role starts with core hours 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM, with training flexibility during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a leader in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Hire, on-board, train, schedule and assign work to new hires.
• Ensure equipment, materials and documents for tasks are available.
• Monitor resources to meet daily production and delivery goals.
• Balance workloads to match volume and completion timelines.
• Monitor individual performance to meet quality/quantity standards.
• Conduct staff meetings and ensure timely submission of worksheets.
• Provide ongoing training to meet productivity standards.
• Use reports and procedures to project workload and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively across all levels and build high-performance teams.

As the Distribution Center Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 20-40 non-exempt employees in CVS Health's state of the art distribution facility. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Additionally, you will be responsible for order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders. You are also responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.

Selected candidate will need to have flexibility of working hours, during initial training period. Once training is complete, this will be a 2nd shift role.

Core hours will be 3:00PM - 12:00AM with some flexibility with the start/end times as needed

Primary Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor:

• Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
• Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks
• Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve the daily production and delivery goals
• Balancing workloads by taking readings throughout the day to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion
• Monitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded
• Conducting staff meetings and verifying that daily worksheets are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis
• Providing ongoing training and retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function
• Utilizing a variety of reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workday
• Communicate effectively across all levels
• Analyzing information effectively to make sound business decisions
• Build high-performance teams while engaging and inspiring colleagues

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 of work experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a leader in a distribution or manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Experience in Lean operations and production techniques

Education:

High School diploma or GED is required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $85,068.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
