Job summary

Tireco-Distributors is hiring a Distribution Center Manager to lead all DC operations, ensure on-time shipments, and enforce safety and compliance protocols. You will direct drivers, supervisors and staff, maintain inventory accuracy and coach the team for performance improvements.

The role requires leadership experience, DOT familiarity, and strong communication skills to provide excellent customer service and cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• A B.S./B.A. degree preferred in business/operations.
• Minimum 2 years operations leadership experience.
• DOT/compliance experience with fleet management.
• Valid regular driver’s license (Class D where required).
• OSHA knowledge and safety mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage all facility operations including scheduling and drivers.
• Oversee day-to-day DC operations, shipments and paperwork with timeliness.
• Enforce safety, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Ensure DOT compliance and security procedures for the fleet.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and supervise cycle counts.
• Recruit, onboard and train staff; coach team members.
• Develop budgets and cost-control measures for the center.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and reliability.
