Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to oversee all facility operations, including scheduling drivers and supervising DC staff. You will manage day-to-day unloading/loading, ensure on-time shipments, enforce safety policies, and maintain accurate paperwork and inventory.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and experience with fleet operations under DOT rules. You will drive efficiency, cost-control measures, and staff development in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of operations leadership experience in a distribution/fulfillment environment preferred.
  • Experience managing a fleet of delivery vehicles under DOT compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all facility operations including scheduling and management of drivers, supervisors, leads and distribution center associates.
  • Manage day-to-day distribution center operations including unloading/loading of shipments and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of shipments and paperwork.
  • Enforce safety, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Comply with warehousing, fleet, material handling, and shipping requirements.
  • Safeguard operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures.
  • Oversee a safe, clean, and orderly operating environment.
  • Recruit, select, and train distribution center staff to sustain operations.
  • Verify inventory accuracy through cycle counts and maintain standards.
  • Ensure will-call orders are handled efficiently and courteously.
  • Manage budgets and cost controls; drive cost reduction and lead times improvements.

All positions that require the use of a lift, will be provided training to obtain lift certificationAbility to become Smith System certified. Training will be provided by the company
