Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Distribution Center Manager to lead daily DC operations in New Jersey. You will coordinate drivers, supervisors, and associates to ensure timely, accurate shipments and paperwork, while enforcing safety and company policies.

You will drive process improvements, manage staffing, training, and budgeting, and maintain strong customer service standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, manufacturing, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ operations leadership experience preferred.
• Experience managing fleet of delivery vehicles under DOT compliance.
• Valid regular driver’s license (Class D in some states).
• Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily DC operations, including scheduling and management of drivers, supervisors, leads and distribution center associates.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of shipments and paperwork.
• Enforce safety, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, fleet, and shipping requirements.
• Safeguard operations by monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Recruit, select, and train distribution center staff.
• Support cost control through budgeting and cost reduction initiatives.
• Provide outstanding customer service and effective problem solving.
