Job summary

Tireco-Distributors is hiring a Distribution Center Associate in Dallas to join our logistics team. The role involves receiving, counting, and placing inbound pallets using an RF scanner, and selecting outbound pallets for loading at the dock.

You will help maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout the DC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in a distribution center.
• Proven customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Counts, verifies, and accurately places pallets of inbound product into correct bin locations using RF scanner.
• Counts, verifies, and accurately picks and stages pallets of outbound product at appropriate dock door using RF scanner.
• Completes all tasks in a safe and efficient manner to achieve and maintain productivity goals.
• Maintains cleanliness, order, and safety in the distribution center at all times.
• Complete daily inspections of material handling equipment (forklift/clamp) and always operating equipment with a “safety-first” mentality.
• Assist with the picking and processing of parcel and/or LTL orders, which may require loading carrier’s trucks.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
