Job summary

Tireco-Distributors is hiring a Distribution Center Manager to lead all warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate drivers, supervisors, and associates to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ operations leadership experience.
• Experience managing a fleet of delivery vehicles under DOT compliance.
• Possess a valid regular driver’s license; some states may require Class D.
• Insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
• Proven customer service and process improvement experience.
• OSHA knowledge and forklift safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily DC operations including scheduling and drivers, supervisors, and associates.
• Ensure timely and accurate unloading/loading, shipments, and paperwork.
• Enforce safety, policy, and security protocols across the facility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly operating environment.
• Recruit, hire, and train DC staff to sustain performance.
• Verify inventory via cycle counts and maintain accuracy.
• Manage budgets and cost-control measures.
• Support DOT compliance for fleet operations.
