Job summary

Walong Marketing, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Manager (Distribution Center Manager) to lead a 70+ person team and oversee inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics in Jersey City, NJ. The role focuses on accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality distribution.

You will drive SOPs, manage cross-functional collaboration, and optimize KPIs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in distribution center management, logistics, or similar role.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Food Handlers Card, HACCP, GMP, or SQF certificate preferred.
• Proficiency with WMS and inventory control software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize DC operations in inventory, order processing, and logistics.
• Oversee all inventory management activities to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Lead warehouse supervisors and staff with training and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with management to set action plans and maintain SOPs.
• Enforce procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service to align DC with business needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and transportation teams for timely delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions.
• Maintain quality control to meet standards and customer expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and health & safety standards.
• Manage DC budget and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Perform other assignments by managers.
