Job summary

99 Ranch Market is seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Jersey City, NJ distribution center. You will lead a team of 70+ staff, drive inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics, and partner with procurement, sales, and customer service to achieve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires a strong operations mindset, strategic planning, and hands-on leadership to improve distribution center productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of distribution center management experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Food handling/HACCP/GMP or SQF certification preferred.
• Proficient with Google Workspace tools (Mail, Drive, Docs, Sheets).
• Experience with WMS and inventory control software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and cost-containment practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement DC strategies to optimize inventory, orders, and logistics.
• Oversee receiving, storage, cycle counts, replenishment, and accuracy.
• Lead warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and staff with coaching and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with management to set action plans and SOPs; monitor KPIs.
• Establish procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and customer service to align objectives.
• Work with carriers and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor operational metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain quality control processes to meet standards and customer expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in DC management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies; manage budget.
