You will handle warehousing tasks, assist with shipping, and operate RF scanners and pallet jacks. Benefits begin after 90 days; 401(k) with company match is available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Attendance commitment during the first 90 days.
• 1+ year warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to use RF scanner to process orders.
• Ability to obtain Electric Pallet Jack certification; work with MHE.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
• Palletize orders by scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
• Process orders using RF technology / RF scanner.
• Verify order accuracy and complete shipment packaging.
• Perform dock/manifest duties as assigned (scan completed pallets; run shrink wrapper).
• Operate ground/manual manifest station as needed.
• Support other warehouse functions and act as backup during absences/vacations.

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Associate.

DETAILS AND COMPENSATION

• Location: Covington, GA - 100% on-site
• Payrate: $16.50/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Job type: contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS

The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks supporting the shipment of products, including manual labor (hand stacking product from larger custom pallets to a 40x48 standard pallet for shipping). This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Experience: 1+ year of relevant warehouse/distribution experience (preferred)
• RF/Systems: Ability to use an RF scanner / RF technology to process orders
• Equipment: Ability to obtain Electric Pallet Jack certification; experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Physical Requirements: Able to perform manual labor, including frequent standing/walking/bending/reaching and lifting (role may require lifting 50+ lbs in some areas)
