Job summary

Pacer Group in Covington, GA is seeking a Distribution Associate to support warehouse and distribution operations. You will process orders, pick and palletize products, and ensure accurate and timely shipments. The role requires reliable, detail-oriented work and the ability to operate warehouse equipment.

The position is overnight, with shift hours and a 6+ month duration. Candidates should have basic warehouse experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification.
• Experience using RF scanners is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution and shipping documents.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
• Pick, scan, retrieve, and palletize completed orders.
• Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to process orders accurately.
• Verify order accuracy and package shipments according to company standards.
• Scan completed pallets and operate shrink-wrap equipment as needed.
• Assist with dock manifest and manual/ground manifestation activities.
• Operate material handling equipment (MHE), including electric pallet jacks, after certification.
• Crosstrain in other warehouse positions and provide backup support as needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
